Daily puzzles and hints

Today’s puzzle is free in both Assisted and Classic modes. Each puzzle includes one free word reveal and one free removal of wrong letters per language, shared across modes. The two allowances are separate, and replaying does not refill them. Your one-time starter pack keeps the three puzzles before your first visit unlocked.

crosswords plus

Plus unlocks the full growing archive and unlimited hints. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. The app displays your App Store’s current price and billing period before you purchase.

Restore an existing purchase

Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. In crosswords, open Settings → crosswords plus → Restore Purchases. If access is still missing, check your Apple subscription status and contact us.

Cancel or change your plan

Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → crosswords. You can also use Manage Subscription from the app’s Plus screen. Apple handles payment, cancellation and refunds. Apple’s cancellation instructions · Apple’s refund instructions.

Progress, iCloud and Game Center

You can play without signing into Game Center. iCloud progress sync depends on iCloud availability and the Apple Account signed into your device. Game Center leaderboard sharing has a separate in-app confirmation. Offline play works for puzzles already downloaded to your device; a new puzzle needs a connection.

Usage and crash reports

The app uses Firebase Analytics to understand feature use and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and technical errors. These services are enabled automatically. Usage events do not include your typed letters or puzzle answers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
